OK, I have 2x E30s, and may soon sell the Sport.....what would be a fun alternative, manual box, etc....assuming no insurance problems (old git) and maybe Ԛ£3-5k range to spend. Thoughts anyone ??

delta integralle, e21, rs4 audi, e46 are a couple of REALISTIC cars that would have been on my list if i hadnt spunked a fortune on my sport.
id take an audi A8 maybe even save up a few more quid for the S8 although they are hard to come by

im so sexy justin brought me back 5 times
E36 328. refined, powerful, still a BMW (granted no soul), or otherside, a Land Rover for some off road fun!

Subaru Impreza - anyone have thoughts on these toys ? But no style or class, by comparison to E30. Not easy choice - VW Corrado VR6 might be interesting ? Z3M coupe look the business, but 12k+ pricing. Not much on offer for 3-5k.

Realistically , for the same money or a grand more, a 200sx or an s2. The S2 is a fucking machine! lancias are great cars but show even the worst e30s how to rust and break down.
If it had to be a beemer, obviosuly an m5 or a 328i/m3 e36 i think
dave ae86 corolla what a chariot, what was the top of the line model of these? great cars!

Much as it naturally pains me to agree with Daz,dazleeds wrote:e21 323i

Certainly, don't bother looking at an MX-5. Driven an '02 1.6 recently, admittedly very nippy, but no visibility (obviously) and on the skittish side (i.e. terrifying) at speed. Also, of course, massivley ghey.
If you're really looking for trouble, an E28 M535i. Mwahahahaaaaa...

where are you gonna get half of the cars mentioned for 5K that aren't gonna drop apart or blow up with in a monthBlondencheeky wrote: but... reading back... where can you get a mercedes CLK for 5k?! Can i have one?!
E36 Compact + a motor sport kit from FAB Direct
Lighter than all the other E36's and cuter
that and it still has plenty of E30 genes.
a tastey e21, e28 or e34 M5.
