I'm after getting a kit for my 325 and have seen a few universal ones on offer, ranging from locking to actual remote starting too!
One that does interest is one that does the windows too.
Would this work on the E30 cos don't you have to have the ignition on to work the windows or is there an override for this?
Any one had any experience in using / fitting these?
Thanks all,
Nick

for the windows to go up once the alarm is armed, you need a window lifter module... this is seperate from the alarm itself! they dont cost much... you then wire them up to the windows and one of the wires to the alarms output signal so it makes them go up on alarm activation

Toad ai606 is a proper alarm - plenty of features also
but end of the day, alarm is only as good as the person who fits it..
