finally the weather is cooling down to a mear 35C and the evenings are drawing in to a chilly 27C  , so i decided to bite the bullet and get the cab out of the garage to put my tech2 valance back on, but i didn't quite expect this much dust  looks like i have a good few days ahead of me as the interior is just as dusty

Thank god i get to put the E39 away till next year horrible modern fat cat cars they are! winkeye

Dude

I know you have it in a garage but a cover would be good!

it was under two bed sheets (on the bonnet and roof/boot), then a full car cover, and in a garage!!! but been in there since last June and its better to just leave it and clean the dust off once, otherwise it scratches the paint.
IOt has been a dusty summer and the stuff gets everywhere!! my windows closed too under all those covers but the dash had 1/2 inch at least!!

It will be nice to see your new roof looking "new" again.
Horrible to see it under all that sand and shit.

Just be careful with the paintwork ... you "blow" it off first ??
