It's not a good pattern emerging here!

If your that worried, only pick up parts in person or arrange to pick them up at a meet

people people. scott is about the soundest welsh person iv ever met! and also has the strongest welsh accent ever. rest assured he will not skank you over, he has been on the zone years and done hundreds of deals and also has limited account access as he lives in wales which we all no is very behind in technology (some people say they are still in the ice age  ). im sure other people on here will agree/vouch for him, so just be patient

ps scott sort it out!

Yep I can vouch for him, sold a car to him, and he sold me an interior, just think he is having problems juggling work and the selling parts. (i have kept a few people wating when i've had to work too!)

He isnt out to rip people off, he's just slow these days!! he isnt online much (unless he's blocked me  )

If you cant wait ask for a refund and I am sure he'd oblige. best pick up stuff in person really, or get a south wales zoner to pick up from his mam's and post.

dont know the guy personally and no disrespect to him as im just new to the zone but if i was to pay for some parts, they would be parts that i needed more or less like asap not a few months later. I mean if the guys got problems with juggling work and selling parts he should be straight down the line with people rather than take their money and keep them waiting, or if he knows that this delay is happening at least have the decency to contact people and let them know. Yeah ok the guy lives in wales but its not in a 3rd world country where some one has mentioned theyre behind in technology. I mean if the guy cant send the goods on time he should knock it on the head till he gets himself sorted, and can. Rather than taking peoples money and not sending the goods. No offence to people that know him either but this is just my opinion. As people seem to be making feeble excuses for him.

thanks everyone for there opinion.

i am with mad_e30 on this one, pms were exchanged b4 payment was sent to be sure that he wud send them fast as it was urgent. he asured me he wud have them packaged ready and as soon as the payment reached his account he would send.

i am not sayin he is a bad guy and he genuinly may not intend to give such bad service but surly u can all see my point???

P_VIDDY are you going to Santa Pod?? if so i'll bring you a steering rack complete with pump, pipes + resiviour all intact on behalf of Scott

Cool guy and for the amount of items he's sold on the Zone in the past - these are a couple of hick-ups that i'm sure have good reasons, don't want to see his name dragged through the mud if a situation can be easily solved.

Neil.

Now, you see, this is where you take back the comments you've just written, as you dont know the up to date info.

I have sent Paul (P_Viddy) a tracking number for his parcel. I do not have a working car this week, so I had to arrange for the parcel to be collected. The earliest time that could be done is Wednesday. Seen as it is already so late, I have upgraded the shipping so it gets there next day for him. I have also informed Paul that i will refund his postage money as way of an appology. The rack was originally Ԛ£30 plus Ԛ£20 postage. I am refunding this Ԛ£20, so he gets the rack for Ԛ£30. Out of that Ԛ£30, i am sending the rack next day delivery, guaranteed before 12 noon, at a cost of Ԛ£24.00 exactly. This means that I have sold the rack for Ԛ£6.00 would I have done this if I wasnt a legitamate honest member of the Zone? No.

I did have the option of refunding all his money and making this a load easier for me, but the man needed a PAS rack. IF/WHEN i meet paul at any meets, I will also be the first man in the queue to buy him a couple of beers, which will wave goodbye to the Ԛ£6 i sold the rack for.

I would much rather help sort someone out and not make any money off it and have the person happy, than to take a wad of cash off someone and to have them turn round in 6 months time and say to someone "he's a right cnut!". At least by sorting Paul out, he can turn round and say "fuck me it took ages to get my parts, but he did deliver and he gave me my postage money back too, which was orite of him, so he cant be a total cnut after all."

sorry to mini-rant, but this saga is ending thankfully and I for one will hope to put this behind me and return to dealing with people in a prompt and decent manner, as I have always done before. These last months have not been good for my Zone reputation and I will be looking to ammend that at any possible oppertunity.

Thanks

Scott

I'm a newbie and not one of the regulars on here but just my tuppence worth so Scott doesn't get completely slammed here.... I've never met the guy and never spoken to him but I wanted a battery relocation kit off him. He was honest said it may take a while and not to send cash until I'd got it. Sure enough two weeks later it arrived... and I hadn't paid him  . And I'm not going to pay him now am I ? JOKE - I paid him straight away.
So yes he may not be the fastest postie in the west but he is honest and that counts for a lot in my book.

Got nothing but praise for the man! Met him at the pod, bought some legs off him and didn't have change. But still chucked them into my touring. Also quizzed him about the ecu he had.. which was the wrong one, but the superchip would work, so that was negligable. Had trouble fitting it last night at aces, and he came over and helped swap them round. Ace bloke. would happily deal with him again.

Shame that can't be said for all zoners!

Oh..

1 gripe I have with him!

He didnt reply to my txt about the diff the chip made. Prolly making the beast with 2 backs with that hot lass we all saw! ;)

Stay frosty mate!

cheers again

ps:

As the txt says, I got the midrange back.. well worth it. I just hope it doesnt need a remap when I get the 2.7!

russ, its at home in wales and im in st albans. fear not, the badge is yours and wil be on its way as soon as i dig it out. dont worry about dosh yet - id rather u see it 1st and we can sort it at a later date.

Colin, glad u got the midrange back! It shouldnt need a remap to run the 2.7, but i guess it would benefit from it to get max performance.

Thanks for the big-ups guys - i DO TRY to be a quality bloke. fail sometimes, but try and make up for it wherever possible!
