are the clips still available to buy??

is part 5 the clip for the roof to hold blind up??

he,s about as usefull as a brick in the head

everytime i get him on counter he says bits i need arent available
just said you have to buy full blind cant buy clips seperate yet i check etk and there theyre are fooking twaaaaaat

You can buy them...I just did for my 325 and they are about 50p each...

My local dealers parts man John is an E30 fan and goes well out of his way to help me out and gives me lots of discountio!!!

Get it off Tony bud 8) The stealers didn't have any in stock here, so my brother had to wait 2 weeks before he got it, unlike myself, thanks to the man known as eko.. :thumb:

The dealer I use (Stratstone in Taplow) will order anything..if it isn't in the UK (which is next day) they get it from Germany...max I've had to wait (for Henna Red spray cans) is 3 days...

Find another dealer, chap!

Daz - ironic that with your E30 habit that the parts department isn't friendlier to you.

Complain? I'm sure BMW GB take complaints seriously and after all owners of older cars could potentially spend more in the parts department. I get my bits in two days with discount.

Apparently there where none left in the whole of the country :? and the chap who ordered it is a mate...Generally speaking my local stealers is pretty good, couple of idiots there who really ain't got a clue (I end up showing them where to look for parts on their system) but all in all their ok.

Next closest stealer is Milton Keynes 8O The roads there give me a headache as it is, so that's a no no...

Pal: if you accept poor service, then poor service is what you get (and deserve!).

My local dealer is Cooper in Reading...but they are rubbish...they refuse to give a BMW Car Club discount on anything....
So I refuse to buy from them and prefer the good service, genuine interest and nice(r) people at Stratstone Taplow...

I use Westerly BMW in Exeter.
First time i ever went there i mentioned the E30zone,now get 15% discount each time,always very helpfull.

Just noted the part number thanks!! I an partway thro.fitting a s/hand leather interior,(its tan,not biege...)it came with a roller blind but no top clips...do the clips just self tap into the headling or is there a tapped hole for em?
