Hi folks, read alot about the OBC, decided to get one today for my 1990 325i cab.
Taken from a 320 on a f plate.

The one in the pic that is black came from the 320 and the blue one was in my car. I can see what the diffrence is but what is it??? What it the best plan of action 1. keep the blue
2. fit the black
3. go down the pub
4. find a lose woman (LOL)

:( :( :( :(

I Think the blue one is for the alarm which works from the extra key on the door.

OK, so is that something that was fitted as standard ? she is RHD. So take the blue one out and have no alarm and a key hole in the drivers door redundant.
or
Sit the black one top of the blue and run the harness as if the blue was not there ? it cost me Ԛ£20 so dont really wont to bin it
thanks

I think you can use the blue one, it ties the OBC into the alarm system
