carbon fibre addiction!!

Anyone know where I can get carbon fibre body panels for my E30? I really just want a bonnet and boot lid.

Any other way to rduce weight? I dont really want to loose interior or electric windows but any Power steering, Air Con or ABS WILL go hehe

Air con is a good start, but its quite a bit of work to get rid of fully.

Power steering is best kept wont loose you much weight. The ABS system weighs quite a bit but is a drivers aid so best left in the car if you have it,

If you have a sunroof and dont need it - get rid, quite a bit of weight from what Ive heard.

Carbon Fibre stuff is available - it will cost the earth though.

Have you considered fibre glass as a cheaper option?

Hmm, never really thought of using Fibeglass. Would I have to make it myself?

Ha a look at CA Automotive. Roy does most thing in CF including a dash. You'd have to tickle your toes or take out a mortgage to afford them, but who cares

Carbin fiber Hood and bonet easy in south africa .....looking around the regen of about R3 k for both
and a wide range of it aswell .....But the probleme its in South africa ....hear the E30 still going strong so geting spears and mods 4 it is fearly easy. you deff get fiber glass panels aswell and its much cheaper....and you can Stick carben sheet (sticker) over that if its the look you after.
