Hey guys,
i just wanted to let you all know that this weekend i went ahead and did the Z3 shift lever swap, and man what a difference. When selecting a gear, the lever seems so much more precise, and at a price of only 47.00 for evrything i needed, and about a 1/2 hour of time, this was probably one of the best mods in my book. Might not make the car faster, but it sure does feel good. Also in the tech article, it states that you must bend the rod selector to avoid hitting the vibration dampener. I did not have to do this in my E as the rod did not hit anything.

Which shifter is it?

I fitted the one from the 1.9 without any modifications. Well worth doing, although you do get used to it and want it to be shorter.
