Right, I've searched for about 20 minutes trying to find a specific topic on fitting se side skirts.

Some one suggested using some tape of some description but I lost the topic it was in and now cannot find it, I am VERY reluctant to drill holes in my e30 for obvious reasons, so whats the best way to stick the top of the skits to the car chap and chapesses?

thanks

Blimey - that was quick.

3M VHB tape will do it. I think my local paint factors sell it.

Try Carbond, Sikaflex or Tigerseal, all very, very strong waterproof adhesives, once set they won't go anwhere (although I can only talk with personal experience of Carbond)

Carbond is about Ԛ£5 a tube, no idea how much that tape is, but I would personally feel much happier if it was affixed with a proper ashesive rather than tape which could easily be pulled off. Good luck champ...

i tryd some of that double sided 3m foam stuff to fix mine on but it wasn't strong enough and started to pell off where the two bits join near the frond door.

you could also see the tape slightly and it didnt look very nice.

i have since taken them off. untill i can find some good glue.

just my experience. for the price of tape you could just try it and see. also the tape is a ba?~#@d to get off and i ended up usind white spirt!

I just got it from a little motorfactors place which sold paints as well, check out the yellow pages for your local places and ring around.
