It looks like the 6 series. As someone said above the 3 series have become bigger and fatter over the years now looking at that and looking at say an E30 this is massive.
I have an E36 which when I first saw it thought , nah not a 3 series but the coupe has really grown on me maybe this will also
For Sale £1200 ono E36 coupe 318is alloys, beige leather Interior, m Tech rear spoiler, M3 Steering wheel, gear knob.

he works for BMW GB. so when new models get released, they give them to the staff to put miles on them, ready for the launch date.

he got told NOT to take it to ANY BMW dealerships and not to park it in public. the latter is nothing to do with photos of it, just damage
Damn it!!!!!!!!! That wasn't on Tee's drive when i was there the other night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they need mileage on a car - just pass it my way!!!

I wouldn't mind those hours!! Would love his job - but i think you have to know what you're doing though so that rules me out!!
I can test drive anything to the limit though - i'll find anything weak or not right pretty quickly!!

this really does nothing for me. :(

its not pretty like a coupe should be. the e46 coupe was and still is stunning, the e36 coupe also looks nice after all these years. and i mean this in the standard guises.

ive no doubt they will get surgery from hartge, alpina etc. and will look exceptable. but this looks poor, its all down to the rear quater panel, and the rear lights. its slab sided aswell.

and heres a little fact to go along with what argos/andy just said: BMW sold more E65 7 series in its first year, than it sold E38 7 series in total during its production period!!

chris bangle, the man responsible for the design of the latest BMWs, is considered an absolute genius, reinventing the company image and upkeeping BMWs reputation. the designs are modern, and yes, they do take a lot of getting used to, but they do grow on you. as mentioned, this is a standard coupe! E36 and E46 standard coupes look shit and cheap! as fr as this goes, standrd has come a long way! i think they could do a lot worse! the saloon is shit as standard, but throw the M Sport kit on, and its beautiful

bet you any money in a years time most people on this site will like em, i remember the E39 coming out and i thought it was a pig, but now reckon one of their better shapes after E46, and gotta admit even the new 5's are growing on me.

but i do have to say it is not floating my boat judging from these pictures, looks like an old E class from the rear.

Stuart, i havent'seen you opinion on it? does it look better in the flesh?

my opinion is in here mate!

they look AMAZING in the flesh! i was at the technical academy a few weeks back, and i saw the 335i.... its a fucking weapon mate!!!! looks amzingly sleek, smooth and very classy

as i have said, this one shown in the pictures a STANDARD coupe. if you look at the standard E46 coupe's, they look shit! so do the E90 saloons. but this looks fantastic

OH MY!!! i went out in 335i Auto today... FAST AS FUCK!!! i reckon it'll eat an E46 in a scrap! the power is smooth and responsive, and is put down very nicely, and the paddles on the steering wheel are the nuts, for when you're in manual mode!

i didnt get any photos today, but they look so much nicer than the one on here. the wheels really set the car off

I'm sure they could, but they're not going to be tooled-up for it any more.

More to the point, why would they? Manufacturers don't like re-creating past models, as it's tantamount admitting that the current version is inferior.

I agree entirely, but it hasn't stopped Ford re-issuing he GT40 and Lambo were touting a Muira concept not so long ago.

I have to say if anyones half decent with Photoshop and could do a E30M3 concept for 2007 Id be intertested in seeing it.

Thing is car laws have changed and the current appearances reflect regulations about safety etc etc. The e30m3 would probably not meet safety standards.
