The bumpers have different mountings but I am sure you could get them to fit, People put the m tech 2 kits on pre face cars.

facelift cars are wider than the chrome bumper models. facelift bumpers won't sit flush with the wings or arches. If you want an mtech 2 kit I suggest copied bumpers as these will fit a1 and look right.

complete and utter load of ballacks  cars are same width 1645mm for all except 1662mm for ix and 1765mm for M3, the only thing that is majorly different is the rear seat pan was changed to allow for more rear leg room, thus this changed the profile of the rear wheel arch only. front is the same except bumper mounting points.

oh and yes they were not faster....the preface lift of stokies car had the same engine as the facelift car, but very early cars had the L-Jetronic system, later replaced with the current Motronic system, now if he had been asking about a 325, that would have been different

only thing too wide mr whippy is your avatar pic

trust me they are the same width, but you must change the entire lower valance as that is different, and whilst i have not fitted one personally i have seen one fitted to a cab as it was being done in the bodyshop as i was having mine resprayed, they made a balls up of it until i explained the differences i.e. required to cut of tow hook and swap entire lower valance and fit the side carriers, and required to modify the rear bumper to fit the rear arches. once they followed this it fit fine.

if i remember correctly there are a few pics of the bumper on the article link i provided above (but TBH haven't looked for a while)

and yes it is a nice pic :D but still too wide  got one on my cabby... see Image

Chrome is way better than plastic!!!!

If you want to make your chrome bumper e30 look better, all you need is an mtech 1 kit.

Looks The dogs!! :D
