basically i will be storing my first bmw pretty soon for just over a year until i can insure it. i am from northern ireland which means there is no chance of me getting insurance until i am at least 20. so tips on storage, i am buying a very nice car and i want it in exactly the same condition when i get insurance. so give me some tips on keeping this car in storage.

cheers

if its only a year then simply park it and cover it. also recommed to start it up approx once a month and drive it a few yards to stop the tyres getting flat spots. and disconnect the battery. keep the windows slightly open, and if you can find it a few big bags of silica in there to absorb moisture and prevent mold in the cabin.

Inflate the tires to 55psi, install a battery trickler and stick a rag in the exhaust pipes to stop rodents.
