Silverstone BMWCC event - anyone going?

Just wondering if anyone else is going to the BMWCC track day at silverstone on the 25th?

i will be there with ETA Motorsport and my E30 M3 track car, booked in the advanced group should be fun ?

I cant wait, im in the novice group with my cecotto and as a passenger with Alex Elliott in the advanced session (when hes not taking paying customers round)

You picked the best car to go in, if it's his orange and green race car ? and on a good day if the cars up and together he can pedal on ?

Do you know Alex then? Small world! Hes driving the 89 cecotto DTM for the car club and hes taking one of his CSL's

Im not going out with him as a paying customer - iv known him since i was 8. Doubt il get too many laps with him tho, he has to take 10 people round during the day. Not to mention il have to peel nelly out of the passenger seat

I might be cheeky and ask for a ride if i see you on the day

i need to be shown how to drive properly!

Ben, i have been to many track days where Alex has been, and always speak with him, he has some knowledge of DTM/BTCC cars, the guys who prpeare my car ETA Motorsport have known him for years as they have been involved in racing BMW'S since the 70's

Come on Ben!! piccys please. just spoke to Neil and he said it was a fantastic day, sorry I could not make it. Im gutted.

Neil said he was shaking when he got out of the car... god knows what I would of been like!!!
