Is the rear part the same on all cars ?

Would the prop from an m40 fit an m10 ?

Rear part of the prop is the same on most E30s, but the propshaft is balanced as a whole, so changing just the rear part without balancing by a prop specialist is likely to result in vibration and short lived centre bearings.
