centre console removal

How do you remove the console surrounding the radio etc. I have removed the 2 screws above the hazard / demister switches but something is stopping it at the bottom, although I can't feel any other screws. Any ideas ?

Its a bit of a pain in the arse mate tbh. the first time you do it you will end up taking apart more than yoy need to. at the bottom there are 2 screws recessed in to the underneath that you access from the cubby hole infront of the gearstick and ashtray. I cant remember much else cos it was ages ago but just take your time and dont force anyting. Also i seem to remember removing the round heater knobs and undoing the metal ring behind them but not 100% on that. hope this helps. Tom

Also, you will need to pop the heater direction slide knobs off, then lever the flat facia around the slides off. Underneath you will find four phillips head screws.
