Rolled an E30 cabby?? Or know/seen a rolled cabby???

Looking at the angle from roof to boot tip (which the car would rest on, if up turned), I was wondering about potential for survival for all passengers, esp rear passengers. If the windscreen pillars bend, then everyone is fecked????

:(

Pretty much! The ones in the back definately ain't gonna be happy

Windscreen surround's a lot stronger than in a tin top though for that very reason tho, & I can't remember the last time anyone was in the back of mine. Well I can, but I don't think it was likely to roll then...

Wondering what prompted the question.

Are you thinking of driving up a ramp at 60mph+ and doing a flip a la James Bond?

Rolled a golf gti 3 and a half times into a field. Coppers came, really concerned "You ok, you ok," etc etc. Saw the badge, change of tone..... "Going a bit fast were ya....." :banghead:

Have just been thinking about what would happen ifI rolled mine. Not that I'm planning to!! Barrell jump is a piece of pi$$$ hahaha

Good call!!!

My car rolled from the road, flipped on the verge and cleared a low hedge. I'd only had the car back on the road for a week after having an alarm fitted.

The alarm still worked and all!!!!

It was my own field so I was used to spreading shite in it. I have to admit that I've owned 4 sierras though. I know I'm setting myself up for a flaming but I'm a Ford man from youth (from the first time I drove a tractor winkeye !!

Back On topic the windscreen frame has held up very well in those pictures shown.
