I am looking at this as a daily driver - currently driving about 400 miles a week for the commute to work, would it be upto the job, or is running a S14 based car everyday+winter going to kill it quickly/cost a bomb ?

Thanks

John

Can't afford to run 2 cars, and only have space to park 1 car.... hence why it's difficult to decide.

That's one very Nice car 8)

I know you've only got room for one car bud, but don't you think you should get maybe a deisel?? You may end with a car that will probably deteriorate in time, if your doing that many miles in a week...Having said that, it's still a lovely car...

Yeah, thats the dilema, all the cars I want to own are not really sensible 20k miles a year cars. Currently commuting in a smart car ! not ideal , cheap on fuel but don't think it will last long doing high mile commuting.

I reckon if its looked after correctly it will swallow up the miles..My friend owned one of these about 3 years ago and he always said that it returned a decent MPG if it was driven sensibly

looks really nice

go for it i reckon. any e30 will last a lifetime if well looked after.

ive heard a couple of good things about rust prevention etc in the winter just make sure you scrub under wheel arches and get rid of all the leaves and shit.

and regular services theres too many m3's and 320is's going around doing 250 miles a year. they need to be used winkeye
