how many "council" children do you plan to tow away in that pete? or is c76jon going to be hiding in the back with his collection?

I have been evicted for lowering the tone of the gypsy site/ council estate where i live, i had already been warned about the excessive number of worthless old BMWs parked near my 22' hobby rambler, but the 'L' reg transit and the 320 on the 'F' were the final straw. I wonder will the 320 pull my rig ? i know they're a sad gutless turd

hi people.

I bought my E30 because... well.. if i'd bought a new bmw.. say a 325TI
or something, at the young age of 25yrs old, people might call me a "yuppie".

besides, i'd rather have my pickup AND my e30 and do all sorts of mods and crazy shit to them than have one BOG standard vehicle which costs me an arm and a leg monthly. both my vehicles are paid for.

overhere we have golf mk1's that u can still buy new. 1.6i citi golf AKA golf chico....

like the oak that sold the car to me said, "THATS 2000 chico money".

so what'd it be:

a 1.6i 77kw boxy golf with no extra's..maybe an aircon....

OR:

a leather everything electric everything... 126kw 6potter???

methinks the 6potter...

i used to drive what we call a TOYOTA COROLLA RSI 20V.

this is a japan and south africa only, toyota corolla fitted with a 165hp 1600cc 20valve motor. good for 0-100 just slightly faster than an e30 325i. much less torque though than 325i... so the 325i is a much more relaxed drive.

the parts cost a fortune... and when i moved into my place im staying now i sold it (was on monthly installments) and bought a pickup for my work CASH/paid for.

so eventually.. i end up buying this e30 325i minter, was a LADY DOCTOR's car.. FULL SERVICE HISTORY.

so now im at a place where i have a comfortable car, and a practicle pickup... for the same price as the toyota corolla i had, but minus monthly installments.

as happy as a pig in shit.

the e30 is kinda retro/porno... most people simply wouldnt understand the enthuasiasm behind us people about our e30's.. till they get behind the wheel for an extended amount of time..

all of them are likely to say: DAMN.. This 17yr old vehicle drives like a new car...better than many budget new cars infact.

and the parts are all dirt cheap..

i mean for (in south african rands) the equivalent of 85pounds, new front and back brake pads, new discs front and back.. BONUS.

gotta go sleep.

nite everyone.

cheers
