look under the bumpers and you will see two holes, and inside there are Torx bolts that hold the bumper on. (cant remenber what size but T9 rings a bell) remove the two bolts and pull the bumper straight toward you and it will come off. front and rear the same.

to refit rear... is a straight swap. there are two side carriers that hold the bumper near the rear wheel arch, fit the tech2 bumper (ensuring the clips and brackets mate up on the side carriers) and if you are happy reinatll the torx bolts and job done. if the rear is not straight then remove the bumper undo the side clips and adjust updown forward backwards as required unitl the bumper is on striaght and level.

use as a guide and the parts i mention below.. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=51&fg=15

to do front... remove bumper, and any plastic lower lip you may have. remove fog lights and the plastic cover over the lower ait intake, and the two brake duct intakes. then using the lower tech 2 valance as a guide mark the six clip locations (item 3) on the top of the metal valance. Drill the metal valance in the correct positions , paint the holes with red oxide paint i and fit the clips. there are side clips (item 5,6,7) on the side near the arches which i didn't bother with, black silicone did the trick. now fit the bumper as the rear and adjust using the sdie carriers and if necessary the main struts holding the bumper on can be adjusted by loosening them. get the bumper straight with the lower grill metal work. then once happy tighten it. then fit the lower valance in the clips you installed and with the lower fixings with item 4 or nuts and bolts. if you chose silicone stick the sides of the lower valance in place with balck silicone let it dry, refit the fog lights and the tech2 brake air ducts etc and thats it.
