I have just fitted a H&R cup kit and poly subframe bushes to my sport (60/40 drop) and was told it would only drop the front over the standard sport suspension.

It now looks lower at the front, but also much lower at the back also, more like a 60/60 drop.

Has anyone else noticed this when fitting the kit?
It has now given me some issues with the arches...

it will lower both the standard sport is only 20mm or so lower than a normal 325 so you are going to get all the 'issues' from what is a fairly major drop.

What wheels have you got?

A standard Sport on 15" BBS shouldnt have major problems with a 60/40 drop, other than speed bumps :o

I cant remember how much a Sport is lowered as standard but 20mm sounds about right, but fitting a 60/40 kit to a Sport doesnt mean its lowered by 80/60 - the drop is compared to a normal E30 IIRC

It doesnt look that low at the front for being 60mm down eh looks more lyk 40 to me but must just be the pic i suppose, so the 60/40 cup kit causes no issues with arches etc on standard bbs ???

It shouldnt do, as Jhonno said, the GUG was fine.

Ive had the back end of both my Sport and touring lowered way more than 40mm due to weight in the back - only rubbing issues I had was the exhaust on tarmac

I'm on standard 15" BBS.

I thought the M-tech was 40mm lower than standard which is probably what has confused me.
The arches seem to be rubbing on the rear arches - I need to check them out. Looks pretty similar to the GUG as far as ride height goes.

Mike - nice combo of sport and Gixer 6.
I run the same although its a 2002 K2
Good work...
