Chaps please help,

I have been having some problems with my alarm and in an attempt to get to the bottom if it i tried to find the alarm unit behind the dash. In the end i couldnt quite get to it so i reassembled the dash and decided to go for a butty.

Turned the car over and it started first time but then stalled. Tried again and it hunted around the revs between 500-1000 and then cut out again.

Tried it for a third time and gave it some revs and drove off. Drives fine while on the move but when i shop it stalls as the revs drop really low. Can anybody explain what i have done and how i can fix it.

Cheers
Steve :( :( :( :( :(

You went for a butty. Nothing you can do about it now... too late.

Seriously though, I doubt you did anything if you didn't even get to the module. It sounds like the ICV is playing up if it only happens when your not on the throttle...

was the battery or ECU disconnected for anytime?

If so the ECU will have to re learn the chip - Takes about an hour.

Just an idea

if it is that the battery was disconected the Pete is right. They say to leave the car at idle for 10 minutes so that it will start remapping
