Yep, no power till 15,000rpm and then it will spin you straight into the halfords door whose carpark you were trying to donut in.

For me a turbocharged s14 i think. Nicely balanced with the extra poke it needs

Chevy LS7 for me...like the old Jagermeister LS1 conversion, but with 7-litres and 550bhp of lightweight, unstressed power!

A dream for me i would love it and in the US way easier to find parts (oem and aftermarket). There is a guy about 12hours south of me that has one i wish i could get in touch woth him to have a drive in that thing.

I think a did engine touring, get a replica gt40 chassis drop on the touring shell (like the mad v8 mini pick up), V8 twin turbo.
