guys i had the roof down the other day,i then put the hood back up,now i want to put the hardtop back on but need to get the roof in,but wont work, seems as if there is no power getting to the roof, when i push the electric roof button there is no sound coming out of the motors so this obviously tells me there is no power getting to the motors.
is there a relay just for the motors?
please someone help me out here.

Push the motor back in and it should hold it in place.

open the boot - disengage both motors. If you want to see what's going on, remove the trim/carpet that hides the motors.SHAZ325iSPORT wrote:what about the back apnel,im pretty sure thats locked into position.
It's difficult to describe, but there's a lever which when pulled makes the gearing on each motor jump away from the mechanisms
then you should be able to move everything GENTLY, and put the softtop away.....
it might be better to find the problem first, so you can start saving up for when you need it working next spring
