Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone know's if the 318is chip or any other chip that CHIPPED UK sells are any good, I haven't seen any sort of feedback from anyone regarding these Chips???
The 318is chip sounds great, with a healthy rise in BHP, estimated at 25bhp. It also states that it has been specifically designed for the 318is......
Any sort of feedback on this would be appreciated...
Cheers

I have one in mine and it works fine. Not had chance to really give it some stick, but it drives smoothly and there's no problems with it at all.

The chip increases the rev limiter as well. It's smoothed out my idle and gives the acceleration a little more urgency.
Hope this helps...

I work on the Elms Industrial Estate, 30 seconds away from Elms BMW.

Unfortunately I ain't gonne be able to come to the the Stevenage meet this Saturday, due to prior arrangements, bit of a bummer really would have been nice.
I know where Arelsey is and yes it's not that far from Bedford, considering it's not that far, I don't think I have ever seen your car out and about in Bedford??!! Maybe you should mo-zee on down one time and have a get together?? Have a chat and show the Bedfordian's what E30's are all about!!!
My little bro's just aquired a 318is too.....Hence, it RUN'S IN THE FAMILY........!!!
Cheers

I have one in my 318iS, before and after dyno tests
Before 136BHP (every single time)
After 147.7 with chip and K&N panel filter
Had some air leaks now fixed and yet to dyno again, i expect to get APPROX 155bhp

Ooooh, good results.
I've got the chip, a large bore throttle body, a K&N cold air induction kit and a free flow stainless exhaust system. If I could get 155bhp, I'd be happy. Not had it dyno'd though... It's got ALL new air pipes too, as I had problems with them before.

Only Kidding, sorry!
People have differing view on chipped UK, I get the impresssion that people like his chips but have had trouble with postage etc.
I've had no problems from him, but don't forget the Zone chips! They're rather good.

Ive put a chip in my 318i, cant say ive really noticed much diference, but my brother said it helped in his IS. Maybe its not 100% all the time, but they do seem to be good chips and the bloke knows what hes on about
