Thinking of selling my BBS crosspokes and picking up a set of genuine Aplinas. Wheels are in good condition, not mint but not bad either.
The only problem is that they are missing one centrecap. How likely am I to find a genuine centrecap to fit? Am I likely to have to pay much? Is there a replica centrecap that will fit if all else fails?
Its the only downside turning me off the wheels at the moment...

OK, had to hunt out the receipt but...
From BMW dealer I ordered a replacement and took in my existing key for the reference no.
It consists of...
Alpina Badge
O ring
Lock
Plastic bung
Now I can't remember if I bought an o ring extra or not but total cost was £66.66. Took a bit of time for them to match the lock. I ordered it and it took a week or 2 but now all 4 locks match to the same key. If I did order one o ring too many then take £2.90 off!!!
And it is nice and shiny new!!

umm dude, second line on my post says....BMW dealer...Are they gotten through a dealer or from where?
I used Westerley Exeter but I am sure you'll find one closer to home.
I think you will be luck to get a 2nd hand one - those of us who have the 'pina aint gonna sell 'em unless they've been damaged etc. good luck with finding a spare one in good nick.

My bad, the shock of the price blurred my vision and sent my mind into a flatspin ergo missing that vital piece of information you posted!!
Must call for a good look at the wheels during the week and then its decision time! I'll be sad to see my BBS go, but the Alpinas are tasty. I know of a set of Hartge also.... but I dont think he could be persuaded to sell, even though they are not currently on any car.

they are very very rare second hand only a proper one will fit and they are big money from the dealer. So it doesn't leave u with many options apart from pay up!
imo wait for a set with 4 caps as it's not worth the hassle
