When I put the shoe down on the accelerator the car basically cuts out and then cuts in again. I have recently changed the fuel pump and the fuel filter, can anyone help me?

might be an air or vacum leak in the intake system......
check the rubber boot from the AFM to intake manifold

Last night we changed the spark plugs, plug leads, distributor cap, rotar arm, servo hose, and some thing located under the manifold and its still losing power, would it be my air flow meter is knackered or is there something else?
