Hi,

i have a broken central drive shaft mount/bearing (see the pic below). I ordered a new item from BMW but i have an event on sunday and they will get it from germany next week. I want to use a spare one from 316 (will it fit 325 at all ?).

Does anyone know how to get this thing off a drive shaft without damaging it ?

Before you undo the mounting bolts mark the mounting plate against the chasis so you can put it back on in the right place so the centre bearing pre-load is correct, thats assuming it was in the right place before LOL :)
