You are right Richy, I am thinking of the reps, but also most of the pics I see on the zone seem to be either genuine or replica Alpiners. Don't get me wrong I would love a genuine set, but I think the Schnitzers Type 1 are less common. But then again I am new to all this so don't really know for sure.Richy325iTouring wrote:alpinas aint commoneldarvanyar wrote:I think the AC Schnitzer type 1s are where its atand not so common as the Alpinas.
and certanly not with the 8j rears

how do you find where you parked your car in the wintertime?
How many inches of snow do you usually get? I bet you don't run the BBS at that time of year - 6" steelies with studded tyres?

i seem to have the two best choices in my garage at the moment, 16inch type 1 schnitzers on at the mo, a nice set up 16incg BBS RS splitties going on next week, only problem now is to decide which ones look better, a poll i shall do in a week or so!!
on now...

and their competition for my cabby...

i may be tempted to sell the set i dont want

Nice. I think that the Schnitzers are rarer (except on E36s where they're slightly more common), although the RS aren't exactly on every street corner. Be sure to give the zoners first dibs on the sale
EDIT: Simon what drop on the C2? 60/40?

Well, my car has 7,000 original miles so it doesn't get driven even if the roads are wet!
And by the way...we very rarely get snow
Cheers,

coool - 7k miles.... but driving in the wet is half of the fun of the E30
btw are you on the Island, or are you 2 hours away in some other direction from Raincover sorry Vancouver?
I ask as a pal is emigrating out to the Island (as soon as your discerning Government let him). He's expecting lots of snow
and looking forward to it.

that resort name rings a bell - Mount Washington; he's mad for skiing/snowboarding (and so am I)
well, watch out for him; his name is Paul. You are bound to bump into him
