Hi all.
I need to replace my broken wing mirror glass, does anyone know how to remove the old glass and get the new one to stay in correctly??
I can see that it sits in the motor but on a previous attempt it kept falling out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a white plastic ring which needs twisting to lock it in place.. can be done with a screwdriver under the bottom of the glass

There is a hole on the underside of the actual mirror body itself. Put a screwdriver into it and turn the white plastic ring to release the glass.

There's a hole there for the purpose, but I find it easier to but the mirror into full up position and use a small screwdriver under the glass. This way you can see what you're doing.
Make sure the new glass is locked in place properly, otherwise it will fall off after about three miles.
