Ok, you probably all know but I'll post its anyways..

I've been turboing Blingstas 2.7 cabby 8)

turbo and manifold via Buster/Gcorky, cheers guys :thumb:

MsnS-e ECU with triple spark output for wasted ( to be added later)running the stock "dizzy" and single coil for now

Today marked the final day, all the fabrication is finished, the ECU is wired and tested, all sensors etc fully working, the ECU fitting was a bit of a nightmare, the exixting loom has been chopped about so much, I gave up and made a new one , best way forward IMHO.

I'm pleased to say, using a basemap I had on file, the car started 1st try and run to temp without any issues, sure did smell bad though, heat wrap + VHT paint is mucho stinkio

I have loads of pix to post up, will add those later/tomorrow

Cant say much more on it as yet, the battery has died so mapping starts tomorrow 8.30 am

Now ready for its rightful owner to collect,

I've driven it, its all good baby, be even better when the engines done a few more miles.

for now it has 7.5 psi max, with a boost cut to protect in case of overboost, and the limiter is soft @4.9K, hard @ 5.1K, 377 miles since full rebuild, gotta protect the mans' investment :bling:

I'll let Blingsta close the thread with his 1 st impressions.

***UPDATE*** my petrol gauge is going down as if ive got a hole in the tank!! haha, im so loving it, just keep boosting it up and then Boooosh !!, thats whats drinking the juice i think? iI dont know if its the way i drive or if its normal, but it feels as though sometimes turbo kicks in at 2k rpm and sometimes at 3k rpm..?? is this normal? God i already want more power, but i think im very limited as my turbo is sooo close to the bonnet, the oil feed pipe has made its bed in the foam on the bonnet!.. Turbo is a different world!!!! :D I will definately be investing in a idle control valve though... bit to inpatient to be sitting there on a cold morning till it warms up

he he he, off boost the economy will be much better than stock dude, we have better control over the fuelling than ever before, if you accel onto boost then shut off, well yep you will get through some juice as the mixture goes from 16.1:1 @ cruise/light load to 13.3:1 on accel and richer still accel on boost.

with regard to the ICV, thats an option, I still say there's o need, its a good idea to let the car warm and ensure the turbo is well lubricated before setting of, 20 seconds @ 1.5K is all that she needs to run sweet

whats the mileage now dude ?

thanx Geoff, How i'd love to do all that for you guys, but i dunno how to post any pics forget about vids!!! maybe on a next meet somewhere, someone can help me? cheers for all the comments guys... mileage is now 700, Ant fiddled with it a bit at lakeside to make the rev limiter cut in hard at 6k rpm.. so im still gradually getting more power from this animal!!!! :D :D :D
