bloody kids knicked my old escort, god knows how, it had no battery.
Though it was due to be scrapped in a couple weeks anyway, bloody ingenius bastards. I coldn't even start her with the keys!
Never mind, my real pride and joy sits in a redcare protected lockup, before anyone gets in the police would allready be on there way! Even seen the bastards get brought out of the unit in cuffs by the local police at 3am.
Only one way in, and only one way out. Whole unit is alarmed which triggers a police call if broken into, if the telephone line is cut it has a mobile phone GSM card backup, if power is cut it has a 12hour battery backup. What was even better was the fact I also caught the bastards on CCTV and as its a small village, eveyone knew what the twats had done beofr the 5-0 released them. classic.
Unfortunalty it doesn't reduce my insurance premiums!

) and all the local shit heads know iv got him so they dont bother with my car or house

my m8 had his tech 1 put on a low loader while he was in bed asleep he had a clifford on it aswell but fuk knows how they got it moved out the way think they just cut the handbrake cables the bastard was hed just rebuilt it , resprayed it and was waiting to insure it so he lose every penny and this was like 6 yrs ago when they were worth more .
me if someone was to touch my car they would end up dead 100% guaranteed theres a small line between me and ppl who know me and my cars not only do they all love my cars but none many thieve would want to cross ive had a car stolen once belive when id found out who it was they ended up with 2 broke legs and in hospital for a week so who was the cunt! and i got my car back.
anyway sorry to hear the horror stories about it although i think if we all pull together we can combat e30 car crime!! i know back in the day the cossie was a more stolen car , along with s2 rs turbos , escort xr3is , nova gtes , gsis etc r5s and so on.
i was always under the impression that on some bmws u cant actually bust the steering lock anyway as it has a second catch that once smashed catches on when the car is on a bend i could be wrong as i was told this by me dads friend a few yrs ago but i belive thats why so many are written off when stolen bmw wise anyway.
a profesional car thief i doubt would be after a e30 unless it was something rare and special, itd be the more council type chav thief that would knick a knackered e30 and theyre the ones that damage locks etc brake stuff just to get in there was a programme on tv about it the other week was fukkin great the guy was setting them all up and catching them out putting bullet proof glass in the car it was totally rigged lol ace.
sorry for the huge post lol anyway sighning off shutting up now bake bataters! lads!

The type of idiot that steals an E30 is at the bottom of the food chain. In Ireland older cars like the E30 are now a target for joyriders because all the new fast cars have key immobilisers fitted. I just dont know what to do ?
