Fittted a mild chip to the 325i auto convertible this afternoon. winkeye

Was a bit aprehensive about doing this, as i didn't want to make a mess of things.
Followed the instructions in the Articles section, extremely useful. Hovever, on the housing of the ECU as well the bendable clasps around the unit to remove the top there were 4 small screws holding this in place.
They are small 'hex' screws, luckily the same head as those on Nokia phones for which i have a screwdriver. Or i would have been proper f*****.

The car did run rough for a bit but is now a lot better to drive. It is more responsive, the Auto box operates a lot better. It changes up the gears sooner. I found it irritating before how long it waited to change up during normal driving.

The A684 and the A666 between Bolton and Blackburn and back provided a great test on a beautiful afternoon 8)
