At work we use a wheel acid, Not sure of the name of it, but i'll find out tomorrow, It has to be diluted 50-50 with water, If its really baked on stubborn brake dust then spray on the acid with a spray bottle. Then to losen it use an old tooth brush, Then rinse it thoroughey rinse it off with a jet wash. Make sure your brakes are NOT hot. If the wheels are chrome or polished then i would advise against using the acid.

Seriously - Fairy Liquid.

Just give the buggers a good soak and a bit of elbow grease.

Dude, Make sure you dont get any on your hands, It itches like fuck, And if it gets in a cut you'll hit the roof, Trust me im speaking from experience. Make sure its diluted to. If Valeter gave it you it probably already is.

yes it works, the crap on my wheel had to be 3 mm thick, yes i know i should have done it ages ago but i lost the keys to the locking nuts and have just got round to getting some more, because the wheel had to come off to be cleaned, all the others are ok, i had 3 hours of all sorts of cleaners but this stuff once soaked in wiped it all off, still took some effort though, its deffo not diluted, and once applided it turns green leave it to soak for 10 minutes and off it comes , however while i was doing this my mate phoned about me laying some old flooring around his gaff i told him what i was up to annd he said try some of this stuff he chored fronm work, it gets rid of all the crap from under trains, wheels hoses etc,so im gonna get some 2 morrow and try it on some dirty engine parts, i will let you know 2 morrow night, the acid i got is not branded so i dont know what make it is,
i hope this post makes sense as ive just got back from the pub, i know after a few beers i should be should really be looking at some naughty ladies winkeye but the old beemers got a grip on me
cheers spooks
