Since the zone has come back online it seem's to be a lot quieter, do you think loads of people have forgotten their login details?

There is a problem with the server at the moment. I can't access it from work, but it's ok from home. We saw this problem a month or two ago. All I get is a page to say "You have attempted to access this site with an invalid IP"

Stuart.

Yeah its quiet, i guess the 48 hours off gave some chance to realise there is life outside the zone!

plus the fact that so many people are getting blocked out!

yep, I had this last night, i'm an AOL user and it gave me the usual black screen saying blocked etc. In the past I had been able to still get in by clicking on the links from topic reply notifications, but even that didn't work.

Can access from work no probs (like now :D )

AOL????

change to Zen as soon as you can IMHO - top ISP

look here for an independant review of all UK ISPs

http://www.adslguide.org.uk/isps/compare.asp

check the checkbox for AOL and say BT or whoever you want, and Zen, press the Compare button and you'll see the huge difference - this is actual recorded data, not someones opinions.

You'll laugh at the Customer Service graphs..............

AOL - ick! Firefox is the way!

My work access is fine :) (like now), but at home I get laughed at and called a nerd!

To be honest, I have never had any problems with aol in over 10 years, apart from occasional access to the zone being restricted.

Are blocked members getting access now?

AOL has always caused us problems because of it's proxy system, it about the only ISP that still does this.

I'm with NTL... they rate higher than most of the other big-hitters.

It is a bit quiet... noticed it myself the last couple of days. Maybe all the topics are boring and no-one wants to contribute to them!

I'm just not a fan of AOL because when I had it about 5 years ago you couldn't network other machines through the same internet conection and you had to use their horrid web browser :?

If that's not the case anymore then I retract my AOL are ick statement. :)
