I'm looking at a 1993 318 i lux convertible at the moment. It has leather and low (ish) miles. How do these models fair out price wise ? Its in good condition. The smaaler engine wont bother me as our road tax here in Ireland is cc related
so the 318 engine is better. All help appreciated .

bodywork? SH? does the (electric) hood work ok? does the roof have any tears? is the rear window opaque?
which wheels/tyres good brand? Pictures?
2-3k GBP would be my guess, depending on what you call low miles...
I liked my 318 cabbie - the handling is better than / different from the 6-cyl models, and I got (overall) 32mpg even though I drive enthusiastically

As above - it's all down to condition/service history/wheels/mileage.
I searched for about a year before I got mine, and paid a bit more than the 2-3K GBP mentioned by orangecurry, I also had to do nearly 1000 mile round trip, but it was worth it

56k miles - that's very low
I still think 4k is a bit over the top, even for that mileage
but as we all know, a car is worth the price someone is willing to pay for it

If it was in really nice nick, then that's a fair price... shame you missed out, but they'll only get cheaper as the weather gets worse...
only if you bodge a Ԛ£50 EBaySchnitzer lump into it, fool.
