Yes the bug has caught up with me again. Was sitting in E30pilots E30 touring the other day and thought, mmmmm.......I do miss having an e30.
This is after having 2 M5's and an E30 M3! Still want a 325i.
So, by tonight I may be a fellow E30 owner again. Who needs 5 studs!

Keeping M5 for weekends, its too much hard work around town because of the longer gearing and it just a waste driving it around like this.
Need E30 Touring.
I lost my 5 series Touring to thieves a few weeks back and it came in so handy so Touring it must be!

nice one Sal.... having myself dsriven some exotic larger cars such as amg mercs and M5s, there are some itches that can only be scratched with a smaller rear wheel drive car...... much more fun
i feel a sport box and 3.9 lsd coming on........

Yep, Sport box..or any box will do to be honest, the gearbox is totally shagged on this one!
152k red/pink Touring, Failry straight with one dent on the wing. Bought for Ԛ£500 with all old MOT's etc. Interior is MINT! Everything works.
I have no idea how to get the red back to what it should be like but I feel a few tons of T Cut and lots of elbow grease required.
Brakes are horrendous, cluth very good......but that gearbox is just so so shagged I cannot explain.
Looks like Ԛ£50 gearbox from JonB and my 3.64 diff going in.
Engine is wicked but the gearbox just vibrates and groans and whines and makes all sorts of dodgy noises.
Everything else pretty good.......NO RUST!
So who can fit a gearbox here?

Cheers Andy!
Just find someone to fit it for me aswell and its job done.
Cant understand what the horrid vibration is through the car, its defo not wheel balancing, feels like something is seized up because there's quite a droneing noise aswell. Maybe a wheel bearing or the hand brake is not letting go properly.
Car vibrates alot when trying to accelerate and then vibrates shit loads at any speed over 40 mph. Wheels not buckled either.
Its good to be back, now my life has a purpose - get the e30 working properly!

What ever it is I hope its not a nightmare!
I dont have the space to do it so some garage is going to get it for the day and tell me everything wrong with it.
Must get some lowering springs for it.....its like a 4X4. I think a call to AVO will be needed in the near future.
