i have a dial below the steering column to the right, which looks like a headlamp level adjuster, but it does nowt???

It's headlamp adjust, yes, and no surprise that it doesn't work. They very, very rarely are still working.

mine used to work until i fitted angel eyes and decided they were surplus to requirements and butchered them i thought they were only fitted to tourings to allow for excess weight in the back you learn something new every day
