Ive got some bbs that are coming out of retirement after being stored in the loft for nearly a year.
I remember reading somewhere on the zone a while back that wheels and tyers that are stored incorrectly can affect them and was wondering if mine are still safe to use?
Bit of a silly question but wanted to make sure before i fit them.
Tyre storage?

tyres are supposed to be stored in the dark and cool rather than warm
storing them 'flat' as opposed to upright is recommended (so the tyrewall doesn't deform under the weight of the wheel/tyre)
You should be ok - I swop a winter set for a summer set every year, and have no problems.
I'd suggest you take it easy in the wet until you get some feedback through the steering wheel

oguz,
I had my Azev's with tyres in my brothers bedroom for ages! laid them flat as orrangecurry is saying and then covered them with a blanket. Tyres were sweet when I finally got them on the car, after about nearly a year and a half

Give them a rub with some baby powder, they'll be fine. Always used to work on my action mans wet suit ;)
