You need to use M20 rad though, I couldnt get the M50 rad in

More progress :D

Went and picked the mountings up from the dealer this morning,nearly Ԛ£90 lighter but 1 step closer i spose :mad:

Also took the M20 out,thanks Ben for your help!

Bought Ԛ£3 of diesel and gave the engine bay a scrub down

doesnt look that clean in the pics but it has actually come up quite well!

M20 loaded in the back of the tourer(now a 4.5lt 32valve winkeye )

Oh and M52 manifolds are on there way too :D

bout 90ish miles south of Bristol mate,so maybe a bit too far,but your always welcome mate!!!

To be honest im hoping to have it done in maybe 2 weeks max,wouldnt mind going to Santa pod in it to be honest but that is only a distant thought right now :idea:

Damn its further than I thought actually, i thought perhaps 40 miles or so. Oh well if you haven't finished it by the time i'm back, and i'm not to busy getting pissed I may pop down. Be good to piss around with e30's again. Mines long gone now :cry: Up in norfolk somewhere.

Yeah M50 winkeye

Wasnt my first plan,but after seeing the donor on Ebay it got me thinking-just meant waiting a bit longer but as my iS is still running(just) i can allow for the extra time needed!

Trying to get it done in time for Santa Pod,not deffo sure ill be going yet,but does give me more incentive to crack on and finish it winkeye

As Ben said above,hes away at sea then so.....anyway all depends on funds as to wether i go,oh and if the car is finished would help :roll:

Anyway few more developments today,went and picked up golf servo,bit grubby so gave it a lick of paint,will be fitting that tomorrow.

Started to take the M50 out too,got most of it done,just prop and gearbox mount and a couple of other bits and its ready for out!!!!!

Gutted though-i expected to find an electric fan for the air conditioning but there isnt one :mad:
Means another trip to the scrapyard i suppose :roll:

oh and offered up the M50 radiator to the E30 just to see-not a chance is that going to fit!

Also going to ring the dealer in the morning and order E36 325i gear linkage-thanks Dan for the info :)

You should be able to use that M50 rad by swapping the lower mounts around :?
