Do the central locking door switches work by completing the circuit to earth when the switch is activated?

Fitting an alarm and you can wire the remote door lock thing several different ways!

Earth green/blue to unlock and earth yellow/blue to lock. Both accessable behind the glovebox, as they go to the passenger door socket.
