Im looking at belts for my project car.

Can anyone recomend a good (pair) budget 4 point belts?

If its a track car I would recommend you go for 5 or 6 points. It stops you from submarining in the event of an accident. Dont scrimp on safety :D

hi mikey,sabelt do a 4 point with a seatbelt type release buckle for £45 each.the quick release type are around £100 but im sure are illegal for road use.i recommend www.demon-tweeks.co.uk .ive bought loads from them over the years and never had a problem :wink:

i agree with norhtloop. dont even think about 4 point for track use. stick to 5/6 point. not only does it stop submarining but is also more comfortable as it stops the lap belts from riding upwards. also - aircraft stlye buckles are quicker to release and also look cooler !!!

Keep the 3point belt in if you're using it on the road. Just unclip the 5points for the MOT and put them back in afterwards.
