I have a set of 16'' replica's. Been in the garage for 3 years.

I was wondering what the fixings are like for the centre caps.
These replica's have a simple bolt, with flat-head screwdriver. I think the proper jobs have something a little more advanced.

Anyone got a photo, And do you think I could adapt my replica's to the original bolts?.

Cheers Gareth

Ive got the same reps as you mate, it would take some machining to adapt them to look genuine, not sure of the cost of the parts though.

Ive got these bolts in mine

Theyre more secure as your regular pikey just carries a screwdriver and half house brick, and stainless so they dont rot to the wheel.
Ive still got a box full, if you want a few just pm me

the real wheels have a plastic lug that locates over a keylock. you push th bottom of the cap into the centre of the wheel and locate it on a lug, then you turn the key, and the cap is locked on. then remove the key, and push the plastic cover over the hole, and voila!!
