hi guys just in the process of fitting a tech 2 kit, wondered if any 1 has got any tips for fitting the side skirts and sill covers in a decent manner rather than just slapping it on in any old fashion. any advice would be appreciated

hello mate. to fit the side skirts if you dont have the proper clips you'll need to get some alloy right angle. (any hardwear shop should do it, homebase etc) cut it to the length of the skirt then offer it up to the car, drill some pilot holes in the angle and then the same on the car. before you put the angle on the car make sure you dab some paint on the pilot holes on the car so it wont rust out. once thats fitted sit the skirt on top of the angle. now you can either bond them on with a sealer or which is better screw them on to the angle so if need be they can be removed. if screwing them on remove the wing and quarter mouldings and screw down there, this way when they are fitted back on you wont see the screw heads. sorted. hope that helps you

if your gonna screw them on mate have them painted off the car. (less masking up)
then just put them on ready to go.

ok. on the top lip there should be 5 or 6 little oblong grooves. you'll need to get some new clips from your dealer. the clips sit on the ledge just above your fog lights. offer up the valance and mark the slots. drill some holes 8mm i think dab some paint on the drilled holes then fit the clips. fit the valance pushing it on to the clips then put two self tapping screws in the front wheel arch lip.
