hi..as detailed in my previous entry the cylinder head is probably fudged thus causing coolant loss etc....

read in a few articles that this K-SEAL stuff will cure cracked heads... has anyone had any experience with it and does it work...

and does anyone know the capacity of the cooling system on a 1988 e30 325i..is it less than 23litres?
please help
many thanks

I can't recommend the stuff highly enough

I would recommend you try a bottle of it and report back.

Eltel-are you planning to keep the car?

I know that Lee has had a very good experience with K-Seal, but if it was my car, I'd be looking for a 2nd hand head to be honest, cos it'd nag at the back of my head....

Must say it didn't work when I had a cracked head on my old m10 ages ago, and I did follow the instructions.

The exhaust was pressurising the coolant on that, so in fairness it didn't have much of a chance.
