Right, theres something not right with my car and its not the starter motor or the starter switch as i have replaced these recently. Sometimes when i went to start it there was a small delay then it started. Now i went out this morning and it wil not start. the ignition comes on and the battery is fine but it just wont do anything. It seems like the starter isn't getting any power or something. bad earth?

Any ideas guys?

Thanks in advance.

Bad earth does sound like a high possibility (along with alarm stuff obviously!). Have you checked the main earth straps?
