hi everybody. im gettin annoyed with my heater (or lack of). the car runs at a good temp usually although sometimes it gets a bit too hot in traffic but i cant get any hot air to come through the heaters. ive been told theres a valve or something but the guy couldnt remember if that was a e30 or e36! winter is fast approaching so any advice would be greatly apreciated. cheers

Not been Radsealed at any point? The additive that seals small holes in the radiatior normally buggers up the heater matrix too.

Part 7 is the bit you are possibly thinking of.. have fun changing it :)

thanks jos. good news tho i did a bit of investigation today and found the valve by the matrix. i decided to 'adjust' it with a big shiny orange hammer incase it was stuck and my vents got warm. ill update later on.

Big hammer, only tool you ever need :p Nice1 if that sorts it, I like the 'hit it, fixed' repairs, they are cheap winkeye
