Im currently collecting parts for an m20 turbo, with a target of 300bhp (flywheel). The car will be used for trackdays and i want minimal lag.

Found this turbo, for the people in the know will this be ok in regards to target power and minimum lag.

Garrett T04 Turbo
Compressor A/R 60
Turbine A/R 96

Many thanks dave

with that big a turbine housing she will spool late in the rpm range dude

for your needs, 0.67 A/R turbine, 0.50 ish A/R compressor in 60mm trim should be spot on, thats a cosworth T3 to you and me BTW

Too laggy then i guess, what sort of power would this be good for, if the other components were up to it.

i use a t34 which i believe has .63 and .48 housings and that kicks in nice and low at around 1400 rpm and will handle up to 28 psi and 380 bhp.£765 brand new winkeye

Crikey, if you're spooling at 1400rpm on a 2.0 litre, that'd be ideal for a 2.5 aiming for no lag! :D
