6 x 9 Recommendations

Just wondering what 6 x 9's people would recommend, to go with a pretty standard £100 Kenwood head unit. I don't really wanna spend more than £50 on them.

Cant go wrong with Infinity! But i think they are a tad over £50 brand new. Not to sure what they would go for 2nd hand mind you.

i'd recommend staying well clear of 6x9s. i think you can find far better sounds for the same money buying used components from ebay....

6x9s are a compromise at best.

I've got JBL components and they are okay, I had JBL 6x9's and they are great. Going back to them!! Oh yes, Motorworld are selling them for £30!!

Interesting stuff. problem is, until you buy the damn things you don't know how good they'll be in the car.

I love 6x9's! But it depends on your budget. Go for Kenwood HQ's, Infinity or JBL if you can afford it otherwise the budget Kenwoods are good too. Remember the money you spend goes on clarity and quality of Bass. The kenwoods have the best Bass and the Infinity is a better quality sound. Jbl are the middle ground but I would go for Kenwood HQ personally.
