Water Hose Question

ok the car was running sweat as a nut on the way home from margate this weekend

Got home went out to the garage about a hour later to find a puddle on the floor from part number 3 on the pic below



What confuses me is my expansion tank is on the other side of the car compaired to this pic also my tank is a totaly different shape, Why is mine totaly different to the ETK???

Anoither question is there any other pipes or bit i should replace whilst doing this job???

Thats the early coolant system i believe. my header tank is on the passenger side wing, behind the abs pump.

Cliff, where abouts is it coming from on hose 3, i have a small leak there at the joint with the water pump. have been told its due to the ribbed internal section getting looser over time.

Yeah its hose 3 but on the connection to the thrmostat though
