Just thought id post this up. Was looking through a thread on bimmer forums about hot e30's and came across these two. How naughty do they look! Im gonna go and spray my other kidney grille now and try and make some smoked hella's.lol. Also notice the guy staring at them.

Just makes me realise why i love e30's so much. Cos they RULE!

i know this sounds stupid but how the hell do they get those fekkin gorgeous rims up under the arches that far, have them sticking out that far and not fekkin rub!!!! i love that squatted down over fat arsed tyres look, but every car i have ever slammed has just ended up sat ON the tyres!

i mean im not stupid, i know stiffer suspension must be in there, but it must be solid else the back arches would be creased at the first pebble under the wheel! i dont know, just jelous i guess!

and anyways, i will hae me some of those damn smoked front lights, when i get me a spare weekend to waste! lol, damn they do look good!

nice motors, cheers for sharin those matey...    back to the drawing board with mine again!!!!

Im getting there, just need a slope to reverse up

they definately look lower due to the angle of the cars and camber of the road, and here you tend to go for 16inch rims, these lads will be on a 60 drop with 14inch and low profile.

take a picture of your own car on grass and you will get a similar effect,

thats not to say that i dont like em, they are sweet

They are more than likely 16's imo on both those cars.
I would guess they are both about -60 to -80mm lowered.

Plenty of uk e30's are -60 on 15's without major headaches that pic just shows them on the transition between two angles so it looks lower.

They look shit hot  and some fat euro wheels will end up on a bm of mine one day :x

stand corrected,, i measured the ratio of rim height to tech 2 lower valance height  and came with a ratio of 2.08:1, then measured my car,s 16inch trims to my tech2 and get 2.04:1, so we can deduce that they are on 16inch rims, and that is cetainly a low low car!!!

Well why run 9" rims at the rear when you can run 11's like me winkeye

I put even the Euro boy's to shame with 1's rear and 10's front and the Rieger has 12's rear and 10's front winkeye

Ah yeah but yours has extended arches and the rieger has mahoosive arches.

As much as I like your motorsport, and marvel at the rieger, imho euro look is all about widest wheels possible, whilst retaining the original look of the arches/car.

Obviously arches are rolled and flared but as soon as you start adding extra width I don't think it qualifies as euro. Just imo obviously lol :D

Yep they must rub like hell but it would be worth it.lol.

Also thought this was well tidy! Not so euro but cool. Shows how good the e30 looks compared with the e36 and e46.
